QFCC Young Person's Council

Are you aged 25 years or younger and interested in attending the Young Person's Council meeting?

QFCC Commissioners Luke and Nat are interested in connecting with young Queenslanders to hear their views on key issues affecting them.

At the QFCC Young Person's Council meeting, young Queenslanders deliver presentations on specific advocacy areas, have an opportunity to raise issues of concern with the Commissioners, and can hear from the Commissioners on current priorities for the QFCC and government.

Interested in presenting your advocacy agenda?

Great! Please express your interest via email and tell us the topic you’d like to address (presentations are usually about 10 minutes in duration.) We will require your first and last name and email address. Attendance can be either online, or in person at the QFCC office in Brisbane.

Meetings are held in a safe and supported environment where participants are respectful of all views and opinions expressed.

The next Young Person’s Council meeting is scheduled for

Thursday, 20 February 2025 at 3:30pm

Please register by 10 February 2025.
