Kids Helpline is a free (even from a mobile) and confidential 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25.
Qualified counsellors at Kids Helpline are available via WebChat, phone or email anytime and for any reason.

13YARN is a crisis support line for mob feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping. They offer confidential yarning with a Lifeline-trained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporters, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Headspace - 1800 650 890
Headspace supports young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drug services, as well as work and study support.
With a focus on early intervention, they work with young people to provide support at a crucial time in their lives.
Queensland Foster and Kinship Care
Queensland Foster and Kinship Care is motivated by the desire to protect and care for children and young people who have already experienced harm or have been at risk of experiencing significant harm.

Parentline - 1300 30 1300
Parentline offers confidential phone and WebChat counselling and support for parents and carers of children in Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Their phones are open every day from 8am – 10pm, while WebChat is available every day from 8am – 9pm.
CREATE Foundation
CREATE runs connection and empowerment programs, to support children and young people with an out-of-home care experience to have their say.
Some of the ways they connect, empower and change are through connection events, clubCREATE, Speak Up, Voices in Action Podcast and Youth Advisory Groups.
Triple P
Triple P is a parenting program, free to all Queensland parents and carers of children up to 16 years of age. Triple P is considered one of the world’s best because it has been scientifically shown to work and because it’s already helped more than 4 million children and their families.
Counselling Online
Counselling Online is a free and confidential service that provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support to people affected by alcohol or drug use.
We support people at all stages of help-seeking, including first timers, those waiting to access treatment, receiving treatment but require additional support and managing relapse.

13 HEALTH is a confidential phone service that provides health advice to Queenslanders. You can phone and talk to a registered nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the cost of a local call.
It provides qualified health advice but cannot provide a diagnosis and should not replace medical consultation.
1800Respect
Confidential information, counselling and support service.
1800RESPECT is available for free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support people impacted by domestic, family or sexual violence.
Youth Housing and Reintegration Services
Youth Housing and Reintegration Services (YHARS) helps young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They provide support, financial help, and access to different accommodation options.
Kicbox
If you live in care, it can be difficult to keep track of things like personal mementos, photos, records and documents that make up your life story.
Kicbox is a private, digital memory box that keeps everything safe and in one place. It also provides a more convenient way for you to communicate and share information with your Child Safety team.
Young Carers Network
The Young Carers Network is an initiative of Carers Australia. Carers Australia is the national peak body representing Australia’s unpaid carers to advocate on their behalf to influence policies and services at a national level.
Reporting child abuse
If you have a reason to suspect a child in Queensland is experiencing harm or is at risk of experiencing harm or being neglected, contact Child Safety Services Centres. You will be asked to provide information to help work out the best way to respond to the situation.
Qlife
Qlife provides anonymous and free LGBTIQ+ peer support and referral for people in Australia wanting to talk about sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships.
Queensland Youth Housing Coalition
A state-wide coalition of organisations and individuals advocating for and with young people who are homeless or who have had an experience of homelessness and supporting the services that work with them.
