Child protection information for parents

The child protection system is complex and can be difficult to understand and navigate.

We’re here to share information about the child protection system to help families find their way and to make sure families have what they need to make decisions about their future. That’s why we partnered with the South West Brisbane Community Legal Service to develop the Information kit on child protection for parents

The kit provides parents with information about rights, investigation and case management processes, what to expect during court, how to make a complaint and where to find support.

Remember to seek legal advice

We will do our best to keep the information in the kit up-to-date. It’s important to remember the law changes from time to time and you should seek legal advice about your particular situation.
